Traditional Braces

At Metro Decatur Dental Group PC, we offer traditional braces as a reliable solution for correcting misaligned teeth and bite issues. Traditional braces consist of metal brackets and wires that gradually shift teeth into their proper positions over time.

Our experienced orthodontists carefully customize each treatment plan to suit the unique needs of our patients. Traditional braces are highly effective for addressing a wide range of orthodontic concerns, including overcrowding, spacing issues, and bite alignment.

Throughout the treatment process, our team provides comprehensive care and support to ensure optimal results. We work closely with patients to monitor progress, make adjustments as needed, and address any concerns or questions that may arise.

Invisalign

For patients seeking a more discreet alternative to traditional braces, Metro Decatur Dental Group PC offers Invisalign clear aligners. Invisalign utilizes a series of custom-made, clear plastic aligners to gradually straighten teeth without the need for metal brackets or wires.

The Invisalign system offers several advantages, including improved aesthetics, greater comfort, and enhanced convenience. The aligners are virtually invisible when worn, allowing patients to maintain a natural-looking smile throughout treatment.

Additionally, Invisalign aligners are removable, making it easier to eat, brush, and floss compared to traditional braces. This flexibility allows patients to enjoy their favorite foods and maintain optimal oral hygiene during treatment.

Retainers

Following orthodontic treatment, Metro Decatur Dental Group PC recommends the use of retainers to maintain the results and prevent teeth from shifting back into their original positions. Retainers are custom-made appliances that hold teeth in their new positions, ensuring long-term stability and alignment.

We offer various types of retainers, including traditional removable retainers and fixed retainers bonded to the back of the teeth. Our orthodontists will recommend the most suitable type of retainer based on individual needs and preferences.

Consistent retainer wear is essential for preserving the outcome of orthodontic treatment and protecting the investment in a straighter smile. Patients are advised to follow their orthodontist’s instructions regarding retainer wear and maintenance to ensure optimal results.

Orthodontic Consultations

Metro Decatur Dental Group PC offers comprehensive orthodontic consultations to assess the alignment of teeth and jaws and determine the most suitable treatment options for each patient. During the consultation, our experienced orthodontists will evaluate the patient’s dental health, discuss their concerns and goals, and recommend personalized treatment plans.

We understand that every patient is unique, and we take the time to listen to their needs and address any questions or concerns they may have. Our goal is to provide patients with the information and guidance they need to make informed decisions about their orthodontic care.

The consultation process may include diagnostic tests such as X-rays, photographs, and dental impressions to gather essential information about the patient’s oral health and anatomy. Based on the findings, our orthodontists will explain the available treatment options and discuss the expected outcomes and timeline.
