Traditional Braces

At Metro Decatur Dental Group PC, we understand that traditional braces are a trusted method for correcting misaligned teeth and achieving a straight, beautiful smile. Our team of experienced orthodontists specializes in providing high-quality traditional braces treatment to patients in Brookhaven, GA, and surrounding areas.

Traditional braces consist of metal brackets attached to the teeth, connected by wires and bands. This time-tested method allows for precise adjustments, gradually moving teeth into their correct positions over time. While some may perceive traditional braces as bulky or unsightly, modern advancements have made them more comfortable and discreet than ever before.

Invisalign

Invisalign offers a revolutionary alternative to traditional braces, providing a virtually invisible way to straighten teeth and achieve a beautiful smile. At Metro Decatur Dental Group PC, we are proud to offer Invisalign treatment to patients in Brookhaven, GA, seeking a discreet and convenient orthodontic solution.

Invisalign consists of a series of clear, custom-made aligners that gradually shift teeth into their proper positions. Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign aligners are removable, allowing for easy eating, brushing, and flossing. This innovative approach to orthodontic treatment offers patients greater flexibility and comfort throughout their journey to a straighter smile.

Our team of skilled orthodontists is experienced in designing personalized Invisalign treatment plans to address various orthodontic issues, including crowded teeth, gaps, and bite alignment. We work closely with each patient to monitor progress and make any necessary adjustments along the way, ensuring optimal results and a smile that they can be proud of.

Retainers

Retainers play a crucial role in maintaining the results of orthodontic treatment and preserving a straight, healthy smile. At Metro Decatur Dental Group PC, we emphasize the importance of wearing retainers as directed following the completion of braces or Invisalign treatment.

Retainers are custom-made appliances designed to hold teeth in their new positions after orthodontic treatment. They help prevent teeth from shifting back to their original alignment, ensuring long-term stability and preventing the need for additional orthodontic work in the future. We offer various types of retainers, including removable and fixed options, to accommodate each patient’s preferences and needs.

Orthodontic Consultations

At Metro Decatur Dental Group PC, we believe that every smile is unique, and orthodontic treatment should be tailored to meet each patient’s individual needs and goals. That’s why we offer comprehensive orthodontic consultations to patients in Brookhaven, GA, seeking expert guidance on their orthodontic journey.

During an orthodontic consultation, our experienced orthodontists take the time to evaluate the patient’s dental health, discuss their concerns and goals, and recommend personalized treatment options. We use state-of-the-art technology, such as digital imaging and intraoral scanners, to provide accurate assessments and develop customized treatment plans.

Brookhaven is a city in the northeastern suburbs of Atlanta that is located in western DeKalb County, Georgia, United States, directly northeast of Atlanta. On July 31, 2012, Brookhaven was approved in a referendum to become DeKalb County’s 11th city. Incorporation officially took place on December 17, 2012,[6] on which date municipal operations commenced.[7][8] With a population of around 55,366 as of 2021,[9] it is the largest city in DeKalb County.[10] The new city stretches over 12 square miles (31 km2).[11]

Brookhaven’s first permanent European settler was John Evins, who started a plantation around 1810. Harris and Solomon Goodwin, who moved to Georgia from South Carolina, became owners of the land in the 1830s. The Goodwin home and the family graveyard have been preserved at the 3900 block of Peachtree Road, near Dresden Drive.[12] A train station known as Goodwin’s was constructed along the Atlanta and Richmond (later Atlanta and Charlotte) railway in 1873.[13]
